According Al Iannazzone, Jason Kidd will miss Monday’s New York battle between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets with back spasms.

@Al_Iannazzone:

Jason Kidd is out with back spasms. He didn’t make the trip. Knicks may go now and start Kurt.

By Kurt, Iannazzone means Kurt Thomas. I find it hard to believe he will start after only playing a total five games this season.  Many would say J.R. Smith, but you want some balance from the bench to the starting five. With that, look for Steve Novak to get the call for this one.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. on TNT! Who will bring on the victory, the Brooklyn Nets (8-4, 6-1 at home) or New York Knicks (9-3)? G0 to our Facebook Page to vote!
