Besides the troubling overtime defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, Doc Rivers’ team felt their hearts stop when Jeff Green fell to the Red Auerbach Parquet Floor holding his face. Luckily for the green team, it isn’t as major as it looked.

Green suffered a hit to the face from the elbow of Milwaukee’s Ersan Ilyasova at the 27-second mark in overtime. Ilyasova’s impact resulted into a bruised jaw and a few chipped teeth for Green.

The unknown of Green’s presence on Christmas day is relevant. All signs are pointing it should be a quick fix, but whether he will play or not remains to be determined.
