The Boston Celtics have a lot more to cheer about than just a six-game winning streak — Kevin Garnett hit a milestone in late in his career.
In the closing minutes of the first half, Garnett took matters in his own hands. KG shook one way against Lakers’ forward Earl Clark and directed himself for an easy six-foot jumper to hand him his 25,000 point. The 17-year pro posted 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
KG joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Moses Malone and more in the club.
