Coming into the game winners of their last 3 games, the Brooklyn Nets will look to extend that winning streak to 4 games against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia. A win would mark the first time the Nets have been 12 games above .500 since 4/19/06, almost 7 years.
The last time the Nets were at the Barclay’s, on Friday night, Deron Williams broke the NBA record for three-pointers in a half with 9, and tied the NBA mark for a game with 11. He followed up that 42 point performance on Saturday in Atlanta against the Hawks with 17 points and 6 assists, and has been on quite a roll of late.
It will be very important to pick up some victories within the next few games for the Nets, as a week from today they will begin an 8-game, 17-day road trip. After the Sixers tonight, the Nets play the Hornets and Hawks at home before hitting the road.
