The Boston Celtics are shooting a horrific 33.4% from beyond the arc, and while some front court depth is much needed. A guy like J.J. Redick could allow the C’s to feel the three-point range more often.
Hearing Celts, even before season-worst 7-for-32 shooting from 15+ feet in NYK loss, have ramped up their interest in Magic’s J.J. Redick

Boston’s front office has always been interested in the Duke all-time great, but stealing him away from the Orlando Magic will not be as easy it was in the past with Danny Ainge luring players to Boston.
Recently, the Minnesota Timberwolves offered Derrick Williams and a draft pick to the Magic, and general manager Rob Hennigan respectively backed out of negotiations.
It will be a miracle if Ainge can put together an advertising package for Orlando’s liking. With the team struggling, most, if not all players on the green team’s value has immensely decreased. Plus, my guess is they probably don’t want Courtney Lee or Brandon Bass in their system.
